Vintage cars in the USA

I am not much of a car guy, coming from a densely populated city in Germany, where most distances within the city are well under 10 miles, so that I would usually rather ride my bike than a car. Also I consider many cars to be ugly, and a waste of precious urban real estate. However, things are a little different in the U.S. There's hardly a day I don't see at least one car I could fall in love with right away! There are still many vintage cars, which I find to be very beautiful. These are just some of them...

This Chevrolet and the Pontiac on the previous were just parked on a parking lot in Chula Vista, together with a couple other vintage cars. A photograph with vintage cars only, lacking any newer cars or people staring at the cars, is rather unusual. But I got lucky, since some Mexican car aficionados seemed to have gathered there for BBQ or something.
